DirectAdmin: First Login Walkthrough

DirectAdmin is the control panel used on our DirectAdmin hosting plans — lighter and faster than cPanel while covering the same day-to-day tasks. Here's how to get into it for the first time.

Logging in

• Easiest route: log in to client.hoststack.pro, open your service, click "Login to DirectAdmin" — no password re-entry needed
• Direct URL: https://yourdomain.com:2222 or https://your-server-ip:2222
• Username and temporary password are in your welcome email
• If the domain isn't pointed to us yet, use the server IP with port 2222 instead

Change your password immediately

Once logged in, go to Account Manager → Password and set a new password you haven't used elsewhere. This one password also controls access to email accounts and FTP users created under your account, so pick something strong.

Touring the dashboard

• Account Manager — password, 2FA, session settings
• Domain Setup — add addon domains and subdomains
• E-Mail Manager — create mailboxes, forwarders and autoresponders
• File Manager — upload/edit site files without FTP
• Extra Features → Softaculous — one-click install WordPress and other apps
• SSL Certificates — check or reissue your free Let's Encrypt SSL

If login fails

Double-check you're using port 2222 and that your domain has finished pointing to our nameservers — until then, use the IP-based login link from your welcome email. Three failed attempts can trigger a temporary IP block; wait a few minutes or contact support to unblock immediately.
