Do I need to buy Tally separately?
Yes, this VPS provides the Windows environment and remote access infrastructure. You install your own licensed copy of TallyPrime or Tally ERP 9, or a multi-user Tally.Server license if several people need simultaneous access.
How many people can use Tally at the same time?
That depends on your Tally licensing (single-user vs multi-user) and the plan you choose. The Team plan comfortably supports 3-5 concurrent RDP sessions; the Firm plan supports up to 10.
Is my company data safe on the VPS?
Yes. Data is stored on redundant NVMe storage in our Mumbai datacenter with daily automated backups. Access is restricted to the RDP credentials you control, and we recommend enabling Tally's own data encryption (TallyVault) for an extra layer of protection.
Can my CA access the server temporarily?
Yes, you can create a separate Windows user account with RDP access for your CA and revoke it any time after filing season without affecting your own login.
What happens during GST filing deadline rush?
Our Team and Firm plans are sized with extra CPU headroom specifically for the last few days before GSTR deadlines when several staff members are reconciling invoices at once.
